Easter Message from President Marc Rome
Dear Friends and Supporters of Preserve the Latin Mass,
Surrexit Dominus vere, Alleluia!
Our Lord Jesus Christ has conquered death and restored life - we have so much to be grateful for!
I hope that each of you have the opportunity to celebrate this, the greatest of all feasts, Easter Sunday with a glorious Latin Mass. I pray that those who have been denied the worship of God in the ancient rite will be able to celebrate NEXT Easter Sunday with a triumphant Latin Mass.
We at Preserve the Latin Mass have been very busy and I would like to take this opportunity to share our progress.
The website (www.preservethelatinmass.org) now appears in 13 different languages! We have also added valuable resources such as: a worldwide Latin Mass Directory, Important Latin Mass Documents, and Printable PTLM Prayer Cards and Flyers.
We recently launched the Preserve the Latin Mass Ambassadorship Program. An Ambassador pledges to obtain a certain number of petition signatures through their own independent efforts or by conducting a PTLM signature drive at their local parish, university, or event. Please consider becoming an Ambassador for Preserve the Latin Mass.
We are reaching tens of thousands of new people through our social media efforts to Preserve the Latin Mass. So many Catholics (and non-Catholics alike) are either un-informed or misinformed about the Latin Mass and the faithful who love the Latin Mass. We are using social media to regularly feature vibrant Latin Mass communities around the world. We are also featuring Latin Mass news and Catholic traditions. Of course, every Saturday is devoted to a special feature honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of the Church, and our beloved patroness. Please consider following the social media accounts of Preserve the Latin Mass.
Finally, we have new initiatives in the works which we believe will be very effective in our efforts to Preserve the Latin Mass. I ask you to please pray for these projects and all those involved. Please stay tuned for more information.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
